If you scanned a page with a flatbed scanner or exported a page as an image, this is the straightforward path: open the image, brush over the handwritten marks, and those regions are reconstructed from the surrounding paper background. Everything outside a detected region is left byte-for-byte identical to your original file.
Resolution is handled for you
There's no need to resize or compress before uploading. The image is normalized (EXIF orientation is corrected automatically, which matters for phone exports) and a image never leaves your browser — the actual pixel reconstruction always happens against your original, full-resolution image, so text sharpness isn't lost in the process.

Which image formats are supported?

Will my image be resized?
The cleaned image is built at the resolution the page was rendered at, and every pixel outside your selection is byte-for-byte identical to the original — verified before the result is shown to you.
Can I get a PDF as well as the image?
Yes. Every upload — including a single image — produces a downloadable PDF. If your image had no handwriting, the original file is embedded in that PDF unchanged rather than being re-encoded.
