Remove handwriting from any document

One tool, three document types

Handwritten Remover is built around a simple idea: your printed content is worth more than a pretty result. Whatever you upload — a PDF, a scanned image, or a photo taken with a phone — the same pipeline runs underneath: you brush over the handwritten marks, and a masking-and-reconstruction step erases only those marks, leaving the rest of the page untouched.

What actually gets removed

Handwritten answers, calculations, notes, checkmarks, circles, underlines drawn by hand, arrows, and scribbles. Printed text, equations, tables, diagrams, logos, borders, and page numbers are left alone — the detection model is specifically instructed to draw tight boxes only around handwriting and to never mark printed content, even when it sits right next to a handwritten mark.

What it can't do

If handwriting is written directly on top of printed content, the pixels underneath are genuinely gone from the image — there is no way to recover content that a pen physically covered in the original. The area is reconstructed from the surrounding background instead of being left as a black smear. We also don't yet correct heavy tilt or perspective distortion in photos.
